2-Ingredient Baby Poop Stain Remover!

/ Thursday, January 10, 2019

One lesson I learned quickly as a new mom is that baby poop happens & it's better to just roll with it, having a really good cleaning strategy in place, rather than stress. So I tried the most viral DIY cleaner on Pinterest (with a few tweaks) & spoiler alert....it REALLY works!

I'll include the full instructions below,  plus the video that I posted on my YouTube channel with the full test of this awesome homemade cleaning product. Are we friends on YouTube yet? If not, please feel free to subscribe & let me know if there's anything you're dying to see!

2-INGREDIENT BABY POOP STAIN REMOVER
MAKES: 1 batch cleaner

1 part dish soap
2 parts hydrogen peroxide

1. Mix the dish soap and peroxide in a small bowl with a spoon until combined.
2. Spoon the solution over the stain; let set 5 minutes (note: you might want to test it on a small section of the garment before using if it's particularly delicate or you're worried about any fading, though I didn't experience any at all).
3. Wash the garment are you typically would. If any stain remains, repeat before drying. Dry as usual.

That's it! Do you have any tips or tricks for dealing with the messes associated with raising a little? Sticky fingers? Diaper-pail smell? I'd love to know xo - Erin
