Beginner Knitting Pattern: Tie-Strap Baby Romper

/ Wednesday, June 20, 2018

I'm by no means an expert knitter, so I'm always on the hunt for super-easy projects. This simple baby romper is a breeze to knit and it's ready in a day or two, perfect for gifting or dressing your own little one...

Here's the deal, I am currently a week past my due date with our sweet little baby! So I decided to start a quick knitting project to keep my mind busy. That's how I ended up on Etsy looking for knitting patterns for beginners and found this amazing tutorial by Pippy Eve.

The pattern cost about $5, totally worth it. It provides instructions for how to knit a baby romper using either button or tie straps—I went with ties! For the yarn, I stopped by my favorite Purl Soho for their Worsted Twist yarn in the color Super Pink.

I don't usually share other people's project here on Hey, EEP! But this was such a great experience for me, I figured you might be interested. Plus, it's not often that I get through a knitting pattern without screwing it up lol so I really wanted to show you how it turned out!

Do you have any favorite knitting patterns for babies or children? I'd love to know! xo Erin
