If you love avocado toast you'll obsess over this protein-packed, powerhouse pita breakfast just like I did. Three ingredients, five minutes, no recipe required...
Here's the deal. This Avocado Power Pita recipe is actually easier to make than avocado toast because it doesn't require you dragging out your toaster oven. If you live in a small space like me, that means digging it out of the pantry, clearing off counter space...ugh! It's a big deal.

AVOCADO POWER PITA
1 large egg
1 whole-grain or multi-grain pita
1/2 to 1 avocado
PANTRY STAPLES: Olive oil, kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1. Fry the egg in a small nonstick skillet with a little olive oil until it's opaque, about 1 minute (depending on how oozy you like it)!
2. Meanwhile, heat up the pita if desired and slice your avocado. Layer the avocado and egg on top of the pita. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Optional: Serve topped with Sriracha! Perfectly spicy with a little garlicky sweetness.
