No-Bake Eye Wink Cookies!

/ Monday, October 12, 2015

I've been eyeing our pantry looking for wink-cookie inspiration. A few days and one box of hidden Nilla wafers later, I've discovered  my new favorite snack! Flirty, fun and so easy to make...

Here's what you need: Frosting, Nilla wafers and M&Ms, that's it! I think you probably get the idea just by looking at the photos but I'll map everything out in the recipe below incase you need some extra help.

It seems like all eyes are on "eyes" these days, right!?! I'm obsessed with these DIY Eye Wink Loafers, Kelly's Eye Wink Manicure and this collar! It was only a matter of time before they took an edible turn. And this no-bake "recipe" is officially the easiest, cutest way to do it.

I'm so curious: Have you gals caught eyeball fever, too!? If so, I think this would be a fun & flirty DIY snack for girls' night or even a bachelorette party. What do you think!?

NO-BAKE EYE WINK COOKIES
MAKES: 2 dozen

1/2 cup vanilla frosting
1/3 cup chocolate frosting
24 Nilla wafers
12 light-blue M&Ms

1. Put the vanilla frosting in the corner of a resealable plastic bag; snip a small piece from the tip to make a piping bag. Put the chocolate frosting in a resealable plastic bag or disposable piping bag fitted with a small round pastry tip. (Or just snip a super-tiny piece from the corner of a resealable plastic bag for DIY precious piping!)

2. For the open eyes, pipe small circles vanilla frosting on to 12 Nilla wafers. Press 1 M&M into the frosting on each cookie. Pipe a small dot chocolate frosting on the M&Ms, then pipe chocolate frosting along the upper edge of the white circle and "eyelashes" out towards the edge of the cookies.

And for good movie measure...
