Champagne Coupe Corsages! Fun Floral DIY

A champagne toast is the best way to kick off any party. Look at you so classy! But real talk: Flutes are for fools, coupes totally rule and dressing 'em up with flowers takes things to the next gorgeous level—you want that! Here's how it's done...

For this week's episode of Hey, EEP Weddings I'm sharing a clever champagne coupe corsage idea, inspired by the retro reception photos I've been pouring over in preparation for our big day. I love this idea for the bride and groom's glasses but you can go crazy and whip up a whole spread of flower-covered coupes if you're game girl! I can't wait to fill these with Bedell Cellar's sparkling at our vineyard wedding next summer.

I stuck with our wedding colors for this easy DIY (obviously) since I'm totally doing this for our reception and I wanted some real practice. You can experiment with whatever color scheme or vibe you'd like. Just remember, when picking your blossoms, small and light is key.

CHAMPAGNE COUPE CORSAGES
MAKES: 2 or more

Assorted flowers
Floral wire
Floral tape
Tulle
Scissors
Champagne coupes
Satin ribbon, cut into long pieces

1. Snip flowers into small pieces and arrange a little bouquet in your hand. Wrap then stems with floral wire to secure, then wrap with floral tape.

2. Cut the tulle into thin, long strips. For each coupe, tie the bouquet to the stem of the glass using 1 strip tulle. Tie 1 piece ribbon over the tulle knot, then tie the tulle in a bow.

3. Refrigerate until ready to use. Fill with champagne! Take a photo and tag it using #heyeepcoupeclub
