MINT JULEP GRANITA
SERVES: 6
Microwave 1/3 c. sugar and 1/4 c. water in med. bowl on High 20 seconds; stir until sugar dissolves. Whisk in 3 1/2 c. limeade, 1/4 c. fresh lime juice and 2 Tbsp. bourbon and 1 cup mint leaves; let sit 15 minutes. Pour into a 13-by-9-inch metal baking dish through a fine-mesh sieve; cover with plastic wrap and freeze at least 4 hr. or overnight. Scrape granita into pieces with the back of a spoon. Serve in chilled glasses.

I've never tried a mint julep before, but it sounds gooooooood! I guess I need to buy me some bourbon this weekend :)
