You know what the trick is to making a perfect graham cracker crust? A spoon! The crumbs won't stick to it like they will your fingers and the rounded shape helps form perfect edges around the pie plate, take a look.
Dump the crumb mixture into a pie plate, then use the spoon to spread the crumbs into the bottom and up the sides. Pat the bottom into place first, then get to work on the sides. Press the back of the spoon against the rim of the plate to make smooth, compact edges. Go back and touch up any spots you feel need a little help.
See how well that works? I used the trick to make this chocolate graham cracker crust for a work project—pretty, right? File the tip in your brain for the next time you're making a graham cracker crust.
