What Are You Making For Thanksgiving? I'd Love To Know!

/ Wednesday, November 21, 2012

Good morning lovely friends! We're t-minus one day away from Thanksgiving: What are you making? Are you hosting this year? I'd love to know! We're roasting a whole duck this year since we're only feeding four people but the rest of the menu's in flux. Maybe parsnip puree? Roast brussels sprouts? Glazed carrots? I'm in charge of sauce for the duck, Parker House rolls and pumpkin pie—beyond that, any suggestions!?

I'm still obsessed with this simple but modern Thanksgiving place setting my brilliant Aunt Beth arranged two years ago, by the way. I have to share the picture even though you may have seen it here. Anyway, leave your plan as a comment below!

  1. I'm making gougeres (in place of bread rolls) and Four and Twenty Blackbirds' salted caramel apple pie. My boyfriend is bringing a shredded brussels sprouts salad, and my brother and my mom are making the turkey, collard greens, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce!
