On Monday I promised that I would share my favorite recipes with you from my time at Food Network Magazine over the past 4+ years, so here we go! Let's start with a cookie.
This pumpkin cookie was published in our first ever (!!!) October issue in 2009. It's called the "flu-fighter" cookie because it's loaded with good-for-you ingredients that promote a health immune system, like yogurt, ginger, lemon and pumpkin. I am all for cookies-as-medicine, obviously, but I just love these soft, chewy cookies as an everyday treat. They're incredible! Trust me and make a batch this weekend, you'll love 'em just as much as I do (and as much as everyone else does too, apparently, because it has a 5-star rating on foodnetwork.com)!
Fun fact: I made that cookie! This was my very first time food styling :) Oh, memories.
