Showers of Brides & Red Velvet Cupcakes

Red Velvet Cupcakes for Caitlin's Bridal Shower. Funny story, one woman at the shower asked if my cupcakes came out of a box. (HA! Stab to the heart/minor stroke...I prayed to god she was kidding)Her daughter requested a Red Velvet Cake for her birthday and she had yet to find the mix.

" What am I gunna do? I can't find the mix in any of the food stores", she complained. 

I wanted to shake her, "Well maybe someone's trying to tell you to stop using fake cake mix." 

...But I controlled myself. 

Long story short, there were nine cupcakes left over and conveniently nine girls attending her daughter's birthday party the following afternoon. She swiped my leftover cupcakes and brought them home to pass off as her own. I'm glad I could help. Secretly I hope they will leave such an impression, she'll never want to turn to cardboard cookery again.
